Shining a light on slavery.

We stood with 60,000 students shining a light on the 27,000,000 people still in slavery around the world.

Great friends were made

On the last night of the conference we decided to climb the tallest building in the city, (When I say climb, I mean take the high speed elevator). On the 74th floor we met some folks from Flordia who invited us to join them for dinner. We did, and it is obvious that God had his hand in orchestrating this event. We now have some great new friends who love Jesus from outside Tampa, Flordia. We hung out for 5 hours that night, and were all very sad to say goodbye.

Finishing the conference!

Thursday night after the session, we had a candlelight event to raise awareness and raise a shout for the cause if ending slavery. In the morning/afternoon, we had our last session!! The last update was that we had raised almost 3.2 million dollars for organizations that work to bring Freedom to slaves around the world .

When we were looking for something to do in the evening, we met a really cool group of people from Florida! We were able to go to dinner and hang out with them for a good amount of time. It was really cool to see how people can live all the way across the country and instantly have a great time together because of what Christ has done in our hearts. More pictures and stories to come soon!

Waiting for the evening session!

We are standing in line waiting for the evening session so we can get some good seats. Looking forward to John Piper bringing the Word!
We had a great time in community groups and 2 sessions this morning/afternoon. God is doing awesome things through Passion!

Wonderful Long Day

We Got Justin Back!  After an IV, several tests and a sleepless night in the ER, our fearless troop made it back to the room late this morning. The day was full of wonderful speakers and family groups. Our family groups are made up of 8 people that have the same color wrist band. The Community Groups (for us, everyone with an orange wrist band) meet in a huge convention center type building (the exact name is escaping me at the moment) and at that point we break into our family groups, diving into scripture, sharing and prayer. The day was wonderful, and the evening speaker, Francis Chan, was phenomenal. If you aren't following along via the free live stream, I would highly suggest you do!

Please Pray With Us

Hey guys, it's 3:00 am here in Atlanta. Keep Justin in your prayers. Justin hasn't kept anything down so we have taken him to the hospital just to be safe. Hopefully he can get rehydrated and rested up. He's in good hands. We will update as soon as we have him home. P

Day 1

Today was great. We had our first session at 7:30pm ET and it was awesome. Our community groups followed and those went till around midnight. God is truly doing awesome things through Passion. However, we have kind of been thrown a curve ball as Justin has gotten really sick this evening. Please be praying that he recovers quickly so he can attend tomorrow's sessions & community group. Goodnight from Atlanta!
